I am happy to have participated in Visual AIDS’s 10th annual Postcards From the Edge benefit, held Nov. 30 – Dec 2, 2007 at James Cohan Gallery. All proceeds for the benefit, directly support the ongoing work utilizing the visual arts to keep an emphasis on the AIDS pandemic and offering direct services to artists living with HIV and AIDS. www.visualAIDS.org <http://thebody.com/visualaids>

This year’s event, once again, broke records in attendance, artists participation and earnings. With close to 1600 participating artists from around the world and thousands of attending guests, the event was a great success.

Postcards still available!
If you missed the event or want more postcards there is still a limited selection of postcards available for $75 each – buy four get one free. For more information on purchasing postcards, visit http://newsgrist.typepad.com/visualaids/2007/12/postcards-still.html

My postcard, entitled “Microbes II Study,” a textural abstract collage (pictured above), may still be available for sale.

Art for charity

My NYC dealer – Raandesk Gallery of Art will be donating 10% of art sales to selected charities for purchases made during the month of December for the holiday season! Great way to give and receive at the same time! (And with end of the tax year coming up, great opportunity for last minute tax write off!)

Hope you have a happy, healthy holiday season!
