Carla appeared on BBC World News at work on a custom decorative finish sample at the Studio @ DFB where she designs surfaces for architects and designers of high end interior projects. The special report was regarding the decline in jobs in the manufacturing sector, and featured the Studio @ DFB in recognition of its innovative and sustainable wall finishes being installed in NYC and throughout the US. The report aired on October 5, 2007, at 5:15pm, Eastern Time.

The three woman, textural mixed media exhibition “Scratching the Surface” opened with a bang! The Saturday reception was well attended and received by the local arts enthusiasts, collectors, designers, artists and friends. The local media brought in a lot of interest and created great buzz!
